How do I deposit my physical scrip?

  • You can deposit your physical scrip at our Customer Settlement Counter.
  • You can sell your shares immediately after the deposit. However, you may only physically withdraw the funds on T+12 days.
  • In the meantime, you can use the funds in your account to purchase shares.
  • The name on the physical scrip must be the same as the name of the account holder. If the share certificates are registered in the name of a nominee, then you need to provide proof of beneficial ownership.

How do I deposit my stock from an outside broker or transfer my stock to an outside broker?

  • When receiving shares from an outside broker, instructions can be sent before 11:30am for same day value, otherwise they will be processed the next working day. Meanwhile, please also notify the corresponding broker on the shares transfer request and provide it with our following CCASS information including:
    1. Broker CCASS participant name : Everbright Securities Investment Services (HK) Limited .
    2. Broker CCASS participant ID : B01086
  • When delivering shares to an outside broker, instructions can be sent before 11:30am for same day value, otherwise they will be processed the next working day.
  • To notify us, login to www.ebshkdirect.com and go to the HK shares trading page to complete and submit the online CCASS SI Form. We will send you a confirmation of the stock transfer by email.
  • If you do not have access to the Internet to submit the CCASS SI form, you can fax a written instruction to +852 3920 2082 with the following information:
    1. Account name
    2. Account number
    3. Stock code
    4. Stock name
    5. No. of shares
    6. Deliver To/ Receive FOP from broker name and broker CCASS participant ID
    7. Contact person of broker name (non-mandatory)
    8. Contact phone number of broker name (non-mandatory)
    9. Value date
    10. Authorised signature
  • The stock transfer will be reflected in the current portfolio of your online account once the process is completed.
  • All overdue instructions will be processed the next working day.
