Terms and Conditions Applicable to eMO!’s Fingerprint Authentication Login Service

1. These Terms and Conditions ("eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Terms") apply to and regulate your use of the eMO! Touch ID login service or any other fingerprint-based authentication login service (collectively referred to as “eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Services” and individually, “eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service”) provided from time to time by China Everbright Securities International Company Limited and/or its associated companies (collectively referred to as “EBSI”). By registering to use any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service, you accept and agree to these eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Terms. If you do not accept these eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Terms, please stop enabling or using eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Services provided from time to time by EBSI.
2. Touch ID or other similar fingerprint-based authentication features allow you to use your fingerprint registered on your mobile device instead of login ID and password to securely login to eMO!; notwithstanding that, you can still choose to access eMO! with your Login ID and Password after enabling any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service provided from time to time by EBSI.
3. Touch ID login service or any other fingerprint-based authentication login services are provided as part of EBSI’s online trading services. These eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Terms are in addition to and shall be read in conjunction with eMO!’s Disclaimers and Terms of Use. The aforesaid Disclaimers and Terms of Use can be accessed via Settings of this app.
4. You can use Touch ID on an Apple mobile device on iOS 8 or newer with fingerprint recognition feature, with Touch ID registered. Touch ID is a fingerprint recognition feature designed and owned by Apple Inc.
5. To use Touch ID login service, you will need to:
   • have a valid EBSI online trading account;
   • install eMO! on your mobile device;
   • activate the Touch ID function on your mobile device and register at least one of your fingerprints to control access to your mobile device; and
   • comply with these eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Terms.
6. You are required to go through a registration process using your EBSI Login ID and Password to choose to use the fingerprint(s) you stored on your mobile device for accessing EBSI online trading services. Upon successful registration, your Touch ID stored on an Apple device, or the fingerprints you stored on other mobile devices, will be a security code to authenticate your identity for logging in eMO!.
7. You can disable any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service at any time at Settings in eMO! once logged in.
8. By enabling Touch ID or any other similar fingerprint-based authentication features, all users with registered fingerprints on your device will have access to your EBSI account. If you have stored other people's fingerprints in your device, you are strongly recommended not to enable any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service.
9. You acknowledge that the authentication is performed by eMO! by interfacing with the fingerprint authentication module on the mobile device and that you agree to the authentication process.
10. You acknowledge and agree that, for the purposes of any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service, eMO! will be accessing the fingerprint registered in your mobile device, and you hereby consent to EBSI accessing and using such information for the provision of any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service. eMO! does not store your fingerprint information during the authentication process.
11. You understand that the fingerprint authentication module in your mobile device is not provided by EBSI, and EBSI makes no representation or warranty as to the security of the fingerprint authentication function of any mobile device and whether it works in the way that the manufacturer of the device or the provider of the relevant authentication technology represents. You should note that no authentication or security technology can be absolutely safe and free from the risks of hacking, unauthorised access or identity theft. Accordingly, you accept all and any risks of using Touch ID or any other fingerprint-based authentication technology to access and use eMO! or any service of EBSI available or accessible under or via eMO!, including such risks of hacking, unauthorised access or identity theft.
12. You understand the need to protect your mobile device from loss or unauthorised use and you shall be responsible for all use of your mobile device (whether authorised by you or otherwise) to login via any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service by way of Touch ID or otherwise and agree not to hold EBSI liable for any loss you incur or suffer in connection with the use or attempted use (whether authorised by you or otherwise) of any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service, or your instructions, or any unauthorised transaction through or in connection with the use or enabling of any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service by way of Touch ID or otherwise.
13. EBSI does not represent or warrant that eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Services will be accessible at all times, or will function or be compatible with any electronic equipment, software, infrastructures or other online trading services that EBSI may offer from time to time.
14. You shall indemnify EBSI and its associated companies for all loss and damage incurred or suffered in connection with any improper use (whether authorised or conducted by you or otherwise) of any eMO! Fingerprint Authentication Login Service by way of Touch ID or otherwise.
15. If there is any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of this Disclaimer Statement, the English version shall prevail.
